Isn't she beautiful? Katie won the Miss Olive Branch 2009 Pageant last night. And she had such a handsome escort! She also won Most Photogenic. Look at those silver plates--we are in the South for sure.

Beauty and the Beast
Last Sunday night was the Desoto Central High School Beauty Review. Trevor was voted one of the 10 Most Handsome Guys so he got the honor of being an escort for the evening. He really isn't a beast at all. Katie was in the Review. (We can't really call it a pagent because all the judges do is look at you.) She made the top 10 finalists. She looked very pretty! The guys all decided ahead of time that they would get to escort their girlfriends so that is Trevor looking on adoringly as Katie takes her turn.
Here is the real beast. This picture is actually several months old but I wasn't allowed to post it for a while. The family of one of Trevor's friends house the University of Memphis Tiger. The previous tiger was retired and a new one was found. He needed some socializing and Trevor was happy to oblige. For those of you who don't know, this was a dream come true for Trevor. He has had a love affair with tigers for about, oh, 17 years now!
