Trick or Treat
We had our annual Ward Trunk or Treat and Chili cookoff on Halloween night. This is our attempt at decorating our van. Some year I promise I will plan it out before we are running out the door!
These are Andy and Trentin's pumpkins. I realized that we hadn't carved pumpkins in years. Probably because by the the time Halloween came around in Louisiana they were old and rotten and disgusting. Anyway, Sydney and Trent had never carved them. So this year we did.
Jasmine and Raja. Need I say more?
And our wild little gypsy. This is probably the last year I will make any Halloween costumes for few years. I usually don't make them for the kids after they turn 12. It is a little bitter sweet. I have loved making all the costumes over the years, Cinderella, a mermaid, a picnic table, snake charmers, Captain Hook and Peter Pan, Stripling Warriors, Darth Vader, Darth Mal, Anakin Skywalker, an Arabian warrior, some obscure Redwall character, a fairy, a winter princess, an astronaut, a knight, a viking, Hermione, a witch, Puppies for Sale and the list goes on. I look forward to a little break but I also look forward to starting over with grandchildren.
